I just got accepted to Carnegie Mellon and will probably be going there to study EE, CS and maybe some Math and/or Spanish. Anyone else planning on going there? Anyone know if they have a team already?

MIT
Being from boston... ( albeit at school in Rochester... )
MIT does have a team a quick search on www.usfirst.org says: Team 97 I suggest you visit the school if at all possible. The environment in Cambridge and Boston can be a rather large culture shock, especially with boston being such a 'college city'. I could probably name 10 colleges in a 20 minute (drive) radius, but the nightlife downtown is always a blast... and its a safe area of town. |

I've been accepted to Rose Hulman, Smith, Tulane, and PURDUE!!! Yeah, considering I'm 5 mins away, it's very likely that I will be attending Purdue. In fact, I decided yesterday while at Midwest Regional I would be going there
![]() I'll be majoring in Chem Engineering (assuming I stick w/ it for four years...) and I am definitely going to be on the team next year. Anyone w/ questions feel free to ask!! Purdue rocks and you won't be disappointed!!! Last edited by Jupee : 30-03-2003 at 22:25. |

College
I was accepted to Kettering U. in Michigan, University of Evansville in Indiana, and good ole Texas A&M U. Right now I'm waiting on the Robotics scholarship decision from Kettering to decide where I'm going. Hopefully find out by the end of the week! Anybody else going to Kettering or Texas A&M? Peace out homies.

well me..I'm going to Rutgers U next year. it's like a 5 min drive from my house..so it was easy for me to make the decision to commute. ..my main reason for wanting to commute is 'cuz I wanna be able to get to team meetings and mentor...hopefully for my team...or if not..any team that wants me! ;o) I'm so addicted to robotics and FIRST I just never ever ever wanna leave it behind.
