Would you like to learn how to sign?
Team 341 would like to spread awareness about deafness and America's third-most used language.. Wouldn't you like to learn how to speak.. er.. sign?
We have set up a 'hearing-impaired network', which hopefully will do all of the above, as well as bring together hearing-impaired FIRST members.. We encourage everyone to learn at least some sign.. but FIRST, (no pun intended) some benefits of sign langugage.. -You can chat with friends during class without anyone knowing.. -You can talk in a completely different language, one which nobody understands -You can enrage people by pretending to insult them in sign language when you are actually saying "Pickles and Ham" -You can communicate through glass ![]() There are many more benefits, but about this network you can check our subforum listing under 'First-Related Organizations', http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/fo...hp?forumid=79& as well as our hearing-impaired network website at http://team341.com/hinetwork.htm Let us know if you'd like to be part of this, or if you'd just like to pick up a little bit of sign langage.. ![]() Last edited by OneAngryDaisy : 05-03-2003 at 20:14. |
