Congrats to the Rookies

Congrats to teams: 1098, 975 and 1022 for seeding first in 3 out of the 5 regionals.

I am not sure who seeded first in Sacramento, CA cause its not posted but maybe it was a rookie too???

I am thinking that the rookies know how to play the game better than 3 year old teams!

Yeah, We were just glad that we made it into Quaterfinals. We were shocked that someone actually Picked us for an alliance parter during elimination!
And, we didn't lose our QF Match, we just didn't acheive enough QP's.
Still, It was a GREAT year this year.
Oh, and we also got All Star Rookie.

Good job rookies, i remember last year when we came to VCU, it was nothing we expected, and we felt a little intimidated the first day, but the second day our driver was in the zone and all the jitters went away. We finished 15th out of 66 and were the 3rd seeded rookie team, but not picked for an alliance This year, we had a little "sophmore jinx", coming into our last match we were 17th and ready to jump in to the top 10. Our alliance, though, told our human player to stack 6 instead of 5 like he usually does, plus our partner slid the boxes like 5 ft away from our human player, and we ended up losing our auto. we got 5 pts cuz our opponets knocked all the boxes down in their auto.

we fell to 31st and we were extremely mad for about 20 min. plus i personally feel my team should have been picked for an alliance, not taking anything from who was picked.

Yeah 975, wish we'd actually gotten allianced together!!!
I hope you'll have some reps at the FIRST camp this fall, cause I know I'm going...
We will probably bring The Claw for those who didn't see it.
We had a VERY sucessful drivetrain this year. I hope some of the rookies next year can learn from it...
