Exclamation Wedging the Boxes?

Okay...

Even if the human player boxes arent counted if they are on their sides or lids, is it legal to place a box so that when an oponents robot hits that box it wedges the box under the side rail of the field? This if legal may stop a threatening robot from at least succesfully preforming its autonomous mode by limiting its movement...

so will the rules let this happen?

There is a difference between what was said on the jive forums (the unofficial rules) and what was said by the referees on the field at all the regionals. They would be less likely to rule in your favor if the human player puts the box partially outside the playing field (as opposed to partially outside the scoring zone, as done in that thread)

You need to ask the referees at the event in which you are competing as to how they will call it (as it may be different from this last week's rulings)
