Nationals Cancelled?!?!?!?!

It's what we were all afraid of.......
THE CANCELLING OF NATIONALS!!!
The majority of all schools in different states, counties, etc. have announced that there will be no field trips allowed anywhere, and the only trip coming up for most people that are on the top of their lists are...... 2 0 0 3 H O U S T O N N A T I O N A L S. As everyone here at Tucker should know by now, that all of our trips are C A N C E L L E D. Tis a sad day here at Tucker, not only because it's raining like mad, but because there are no trips allowed......

Our state has made no notion of this, however believe that things will settle down and states might have a change of heart once the war gets into swing. I would talk to your superintendent about the matter.

We are concerned for the safety and security of citizens facing these threats anywhere in the world, and, in particular, for all our men and women in the military.

While we recognize the impact of these events, we also understand the best course of action is to move forward with existing plans. Therefore, FIRST is continuing to do all that is necessary to deliver superb regional and championship events. We are not considering cancellations, extensions, or refunds. We do recognize the right and responsibility of each individual to judge how best to proceed. In the meantime, we'll continue to work toward a great season of Regional events and the Championship."

No canceling of the Nats, but I think most schools will go since it's over 3 weeks away some might change their minds or make special exceptions.

Joe, we don't know how long this stupid war will last, so, we really can't say for certain if we can go or not.
