Go to Post My point is that there seems to be a trend in FIRST in which people are saying "who cares about the robots, let's inspire the students." What I'm saying is, it's the robots that inspire the students. - Chris Hibner [more]

Galileo teams

I see many problems in the Galileo Division. I'm not sure how all of these teams are going to peacefully co-exist.

Not only does the Galileo division have CHAOS (131), but also Purpetual Chaos (931) and NeverEndingChaos (891) <note... Purpetual Chaos and NeverEndingChaos are pit neighbors, by the way>. All this, and we know darn well that Houston will have Thunder (from Truck Town, 68) during the upcoming Heat Wave (312) next week.

I'm not sure how the poor Grasshoppers (95) are going to survive agaist all of the Killer Bees (33), who are Buzz(175)ing around. Not only that, but there will be Gila Monsters (64) and Birds of Prey (181) who will also be hungry.

I am also worried that Chuck (84) plans on conducting a Blair Robot Project (449) after his todo at a recent regional, where he went on a Titanium Rampage (391). He was OK after someone gave him a Daisy (341), but I'm still a bit worried that he may go TechnoNuts (155).

You see, there were these RoboMasters (519) who were Combbat(21)ing with the Metalcrafters (207) and the TechEngineers (334) about who could build the best Mr. Roboto (1180). They were really going at it until someone said that they could never be as good as the Transformerz (687) that were shown on the Cartoon Channel.

All this won't even matter if T-Rex (145) gets mad and Bulldogs (249) their way over the CyberKnights (195), causing a big High Voltage (231) situation.

Hopefully, the Thunderchickens (217) can get their friends, the Frog Force (503) can join the Magaforce Squadron (814) and pull off a Westside Boiler Invasion (461) by RoboRide(9)ing in on their Cheshire Cyber Chopper (999) and save these silly Hawaiian Kids (359). I dunno... it probably won't be enough without also calling upon the RobotNauts (118), but we all know that they are somewhere out in the Cosmos (123) conducting some Tech Fusion (279) experiments on how the the IFI SPIKEnet (293) relays react to Element 945 (945).

Lord knows that last time this happened, the Leopards (57), Positronic Panthers (486), and Panthers (303) got bit by TechnoTicks (236) while the TechnoKats (45), SigmaC@ats (108), RoboCats (379) and Bearcats (225) all had a good cat fight until the Metallic Tigers (755) clawed them all. Then, the Flaming Dutch (74) only got themselves to smoke, which really threw everyone into a Paragon (571) until the RoboDox (599) performed an Operation Oxidation (638) and get everyone back to good health.

Really, I should be keeping my chin up. Even though the other divisions have Moe and Big Moe, we do have Mobotics (783) who can pull out their Webbinator (837) and create an Aftershock (263). Or, the Monclair Mounties (555) can act like All-Stars (1077) and CRUSH (1011) the dreaded GondoBots (861) with their Lakotas (1038) from Lancaster (399).

All I can say is, I can't wait.

Andy B.
