Human Player "Accuracy"

So, I was thinking about my human player performance over the season, and I decided to figure out my "accuracy" for the season. Out of 42 matches played, I successfully stacked the intended number of bins 41 times, for an accuracy rating of 97.6%. Impressive, eh? Any other human players care to post their "ratings"? If you have any stories about your matches, feel free to post those, too...

Of the matches I HP'd, i dont recall ever failing to stack the desired stack or formation, though I did knock my safety glasses free of my face at the beginning of one match(I recovered them and made it back though ) I guess that gives me a 100% then

I think I messed up only in one match, the evil match. But I will say 2, so I don't sound conceited and can't honestly remember. So lettme see that is 18 outta 20 (we only went to Central Fl Reg's, and Nat's) So that is 90% of the time.

My HP experiences, well, lets see, minus the fall of the feild in the one evil match, that was interesting, but I got our auto working ont hat match, so I guess it wouldn't count as a mess up? I dunno. And well, stragedizing in HP is fun, like at CFR when we offset Pink's auto, and it ended up helping us numeously...whee, I don't remember any stories...to much pain form being HP, I cut a giant slit in the top of my hand at Nat's from the broke Boxes, that stunk....:lace box, sting, walk sting, sting sting, whine, sting::

roughly 52 for 52 in returns to the touchpad in 10 sec 100%

51 for 52 in successful bin stacks 98%

The one I missed I knocked my top bin off on my way back to the touch pad...and got penalized. This occured in the finals match one of the midwest regional..

Accomplisments

Stack of 8 (practice match)
Many runs of more than half of field for bin position
One run to the opposite gate to put 2 by partners gate and returned in 8 seconds.

Made it from midfield to touch pad on time when middle clock said 8 seconds close, but I made it

I never messed up stacking in competition (only one time in practice match when we were trying to get a stack seven high) so would that make me 100% or not?

Never messed up. Though half the time I WASN'T supposed to get back in time, but that was what I was trying to do, so yah.

But second match at nationals, I stacked two and miscalculated the distance to the ground so I smashed my bottom lip between the bin and my top teeth twice (the bins and my head both bounced a little)... And then my lip bled a lot during the match that was interesting. (Speaking of injuries, the robot also hit me coming down the ramp and I got a 3~4 inch cut that I didn't notice for 5 hours. )

So if you're going strictly by "back in time" i'm at like, 50%. If you're talking "doing what I was supposed to do", 100%.

as much as i <3ed the teams on curie, i think the best human players was a coin toss between our human Player Mike (not me) and DJ on 45, if there was a hp competition one of those 2 would definatly win it strickly on how much they owned at the game

Well ... by english class it seems you just shouldn't post your rating at all, but by math class I'd say your accuracy is undefined. I suppose the optimist would try to argue 100% though

Stephen

PS. Of course, it depends on the technical definition of "human player accuracy." Although, I think the adjective pretty much assumes you actually WERE a human player

Hmm... in two regionals, my accuracy with stacking and placing bins was perfect. I also got back at the intended time every time. As for Championships, I had the same record up until the final match for 188 in the Curie Quarterfinals, wherein a strange strategy was implemented to stack six. After running over to stack two of them, I ran back and I had to sort of drop a bin on top of another that was out of my way (strategically placed in front of the lexan) to get back in time. I did, but I took an annoying (if meaningless) penalty, because it fell off the bin it was on. I still got back in time though. So I'm close to perfect. They never let me stack eight though, which annoyed me immensely. I could do it and get back in six seconds in practice.

Team 61 Human player stack 8 high 7 out of 10 times
missed once and only got 5 high due to the other human player. and twice only put 4 bins out do to the game itself.

I like to see how many people can stack 8 high and get back in 8 seconds.

"E-DAWG, E-DAWG, E-DAWG..."

100% on returns to the pad in time
100% penalty free

After three regionals where we made it to the quarters, semis, then finals and then the Championship and Curie finals I can safely say no one stacks like the E-DAWG

I guess I should've added my story... I went 38 straight matches without a mistake, and on the first Archimedes quarterfinal, I dropped my 4-stack as I brought it on the field. The aftermath of that was bizzare, because the field controllers accidentally disabled 47's bot instead of ours, and it was a mess. Fortunately, we both came back in human mode, kept the score down, came back, and won the series. It made me feel really stupid, though, to make my one mistake of the season in such a crucial match.
