well, to answer all of your questions:

there are far more girls submitting applications than guys, which is a little difficult to work with, but its not too bad

sometimes when 2 people are a match, they can live really close or really far away. i try to make them so that they are not more than like 500 miles away, but it is rather diffucult. a lot of this is just to meet new people and to improve team relations and to start strong ones.

you do not have to be a free agent (single) to send in an application, however if you are not a free agent, im guessing your girlfriend or boyfriend might have a small problem with it. although this service can simply be to make new friends, there is a slight emphasis on hte romance part. hence the name
