Please review the list of approved tools that teams are allowed to use. You will find "Taps & die" are allowed.

Tap and Die set
The OCCRA tool kit has a tap and die set for loan to teams, but it was somehow left out of the Additional Materials List in the rules. This was an oversight. These are relatively inexpensive tools that can actually save you money if a part needs to be rethreaded...etc., so consider them legal tools. I will e-mail out the revised rules to all teams tonight (this includes all of the other updates and revisions announced here.)
