i have just begun using Inventor, and have found myself in a bit of a jam. whenever i go to create a thread (or modify an existing one) a dialog box comes up that says "Cannot Open Excel Application" and it won't allow me to create a thread. does anyone have any idea what is happening? Thanks,
-Roger |

Do you have Microsoft Excel installed as well?
Without it, Inventor can't look up the data tables for thread sizes and things. If it is installed, check to make sure it's working properly. Sometimes, still, the computer will explode while trying to run two intensive programs at once. |
