Truck Town NEW Website

I took many many things that were posted before into consideration into the re-vamping of this website. Take a look, and let me know what you think!

Ok, it looks great, but I'm not very fond of the parenthesis separating the words. Could you use a divider of some sort maybe? I think that would look better. Other than that, I, the completely unknowledgeable about anything but surfing websites person, think that it looks great!

I like it. A lot. It's simple, but it's very well done. No annoying flashy effects, no huge images, no color schemes that make your eyes bleed...it came out very well. The only thing that seems a bit amiss is a lack of a links section - even if it's small, having links to FIRST, your sponsors, and possibly Innovation First and other robotics-related sites (Chief Delphi, perhaps?) might be a good idea.

You did a great job. See? You CAN learn a lot from reading Chief Delphi's forums!

Is the fact that the title section is left-aligned, and the body section centre-aligned a deliberate design choice? Or did somebody forget to check if the alignment works in higher resolutions than 1024×768? (It is way out of alignment at 1600×1200, yet seems just about right in 1024×768.)
And incidentally, those parentheses are a bit unusual. Try pipes, maybe? (i.e. title1 | title2 | title3) Or a few spaces?
In your forum, there is grey text on dark blue, and grey on black. This is next-to-useless in terms of readability. Speaking of which, you need to clearly indicate where posts begin and end in the forum--it's all a sea of grey. Look at ChiefDelphi, where each post alternates in colour (grey to white), and is separated by a thin black border. And lastly, there's a typographic error in the caption for the "Off-Topic" forum--unless you really meant "opic".

Kinda boring right now, while it's simple, you can add some more pazazz and separators. Also, speed up the animation on top and maybe incorporate the navigation up there. Same problem with the parentheses, it looks kinda, boring.

But it is a good foundation and very good starting block.

I would use pipes (The | symbol) to seperate the different links in the navigation.

Maybe integrate the navigation into the same "box" as the flash? (Though navigation in flash is bad...)

Another thing to think about would be to change the color of the current page's link...

Also: I personally don't really like centered text all that much. Is that a design decision? I feel it makes it harder to see paragraphs, and its also harder to track from line to line. (IE: you have a ragged edge on both left and right, so I get confused. I am easily confuse-able though. )
