No Power

Ok we are finally starting to get back to business here in Northern Oklahoma where we go hit with 2"+ of ice. It looks like a massive tornado went through town, tree limbs and power poles everwhre. We lost most of last week due to the weather, school was out and we was freezin' -- You don't realize how much you use electricity until you are without. It has been six days and counting at my house. Has anyone else had any weather related problems?
You should have seen all the generators Lowe's was selling.
Hopefully we can make up for lost time this week. diggin' out in OK

We had a snow day on Friday. Only about 4 inches of the stuff but it was covered with ice. Not enough to cause any power problems but we did miss a shipment of parts because FedEx tried to take it to school and there was no one to accept it. We were able to pick it up on Saturday so we did not miss too much time.

We had a double whamy last week. Thursday we had snow going to sleet going to freezing rain which meant that school was canceled and therefore no robotics. Friday we had winds upwards of 74 miles per hours (75 is hurricane strength). So we've had some interesting weather the past couple days.

up here in canada it was 20 degrees celcius below zero winds up to 60 KPH and we have 2-3 feet of snow. Every thing is coved in a shiny layer of ice but we aren't complaining at all we just keep on going. no snow days, no breaks we put FIRST priority over everything else including weather.
