Starting position and hanging clarification

Trying to clarify the starting position of the robot. I understand straddling the line and touching the wall, but where do they start?

1. The red alliance robots start straddling the lines and touching the wall right in front of the blue alliance team stations, and the blue alliance robots start on the red side.

-or-

2. The red alliance robots start straddling the lines and touching the wall in front of the red alliance team stations, and the blue alliance robots start on the blue side.

Also, I assume by hanging at the end of the match from the bar means no part of the robot touching the ground. I wasn't around for the previous game with hanging so if someone could clarify.

Thanks.
