IR Receivers and Controller

How many IR receivers can be placed on the robot and how many IR receivers can the robot interface read?

Thank you.

Re: IR Receivers and Controller

I could be wrong but I don't believe that it says anywhere in the manual that there is a limit. Seeing as they cut down/revised the rules and only put in the important, unconfusing information, I don't think they left it out by accident. My guess is that there is no limitation other than additional parts costs (don't forget that there is a $3500 limit on additional parts).

Re: IR Receivers and Controller

Teedoff101,
The answer to your question is more complex than you think. The basic limiting factor is how many receivers can you interface to the RC? Since there are only 16 Digital and 16 analog inputs, there is a limiting factor on how you may use those and the $3500 limit applies. If you are interfacing in a custom circuit than the number is only limited by your circuit constraints but the cash limit is $200.
