Rookies

Hello everyone. I am from the rookie team 1259 in pewaukee WI. We wonder if any of you veterans out there had tips for us on different types of drivetrains that would work best for us? Thanks for your replies!

Re: Rookies

You might want to start with a search of forums / posts with "Drive Train".
There is a great deal of excellent information that you can look thru.

Also, check out the "papers" area - there are several good papers listed and the papers can probably be a better soource of information than the forum - the papers will be more concrete and detailed than reading several forum posts.

Consider using the drive sytem from the kit for your first year. That is why it is included. Designing and building a workable drive sytem is a struggle for every team - and during your first season you have lots to keep you busy.

Hope this helps.
