It depends. You didn't mention the width or length of it. At work we use a kevlar reinforced belt ( .25 thick, 1.65 wide, by whatever length needed) and for 1' weighs less than a quater pound. Remember this is kevlar (metal) and not polycord (nylon) so I would say slightly less. I hope this helps and if in doubt round higher for a safety margin.
