Go to Post Although you will see lot's of people complain about parts (sometimes that includes me) all of us are held to the same constraints. That's what makes this so much fun. - Al Skierkiewicz [more]

Cherrys...mmm

I see what appears to be a cherry picker...

Anyone else going with something like that? Being able to get that much higher above the goal to drop the ball onto the goal vs grabing the ball from the side?

Pnumaticly opened cherry picker...hrmm. Looks overly robust, but that means it shouldn't (and therefor will) break.

We used cabling on rollers on our slidling lift system in 99. It was designed to be gravity loaded, so it comes off all the time now that the lift is the only thing left from that robot.

Well, things need to be robust because you can't ever tell when they might just drop in front of another robot or something...
