This looks like a plate we made last year for a globe motor, but it's way too thick.

I'm thinking this could connect to the CIMs, but there's only two screws you can use on those without taking the entire motor apart (from what I've seen) and it seems that the plate is still too thick, even for the CIMs.

The only real guess I have is that it's for some sort of arm, maybe a plate to hold a bearing for an axle, or something like that.
