Bluetooth serial cable replacement

I was thinking about getting one of these: http://www.store.yahoo.com/aircable/aise.html. Its a matched pair of bluetooth modules that acts as a "virtual" serial cable. The range is 30ft indoors and supports speeds up to 115k baud. Has anyone used one? I'd like to use something like this to program the robot controller.

That looks pretty cool! It caused me a bit of sticker shock, however...
