motor performace white papers

I was trying to put together a table that summarizes performance of motors used in FIRST (actually this was a while ago that I was trying to do this) and I found some questionable data. Some of the white papers provided by FIRST are pretty sloppy and some data even seems to be in conflict (I found implicitly that gear boxs efficiencies were greater than 100 percent for instance). If you haven't seen them for yourself already, you can get them from the FIRST website. The best example is probably the sheet on the chiaphua. It's just a poorly scanned drawing with a small (albeit decent) data table at the bottom. Am I crazy or does anyone else not trust the FIRST white papers?
