Would this mesh be legal?

My team has just been putting the final touches (gearboxes, frame, electronics...) on our robot, and we came across this mesh we wanted to use. It is pretty ridged (a little more than a plastic pop bottle), and has ~1cm holes in it. You can see this better in the pictures I have attached.
Do you think it would be legal?
Thanks
