relaxing of pneumatic rules and IFI
After seeing many pictures in which people are using up to 10 or 12 solenoids, I've decided that the reason that FIRST decreased the restrictions on pneumatics and allowed unlimited cylinders and solenoids was to increase sales of relays at Innovation First.
In previous years, it was quite uncommon to see as many spikes as victors on a robot. This year it doesn't seem to be uncommon for a robot to have 7 or 8 victors and 10 or 12 spikes. ![]() |

Re: relaxing of pneumatic rules and IFI
Why do you suppose FIRST would want to enhance the sales of the relatively inexpensive spikes?

Re: relaxing of pneumatic rules and IFI
I'm sure the profit margin on both of them is astronomical.
