HuskieRobotics has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Can you help us?

We would like to know just how much of the robot has to be shipped away. Can we keep the control unit so that we can test programming or does all that have to be done prior to shipping? Also once it has been inspected it can exspand to any size right? thanks!!

From the Q&A:
Quote:
Q: Can we keep the victor 884, controller, spike relay, and fuse boxes when we ship the robot?
A: No. You may keep your driver controls, the OI and power supply, the OI radio, the RC, and the RC radio.

No, this is incorrect. Your robot must be no larger than 30"x36"x60" at the start of any match on the field. It must be able to maintain this shape on it's own (can't lean against anything). Only after the match has begun are you allowed to expand to be larger than this size.

All of the robot must be shipped except the radio, robot controllers, and operator interface.

As to expand your robot must start within the box every time it is on the field, not just after it is inspected. Once the match begins your robot can get as large as you want.

You can do anything to your robot in the pit, even build an entire new one, as long as you DO NOT make any new parts after the ship date. You may bring all the raw matierials you like, but you can not build another component, bring it and bolt it on. You may design it before but then build it once the pit opens on Thursday.
