Do you have a digital video camera? I know it's possible to record from a digital camera from a VCR, so I'm guessing you could probably also record from a VCR to a digital camera, and from there to your computer via Windows Movie Maker <shudder>. You'd have to look at the instructions for your particular model.

Re: DETRIOT REGIONAL THREAD

Congrats to everyone at Detroit...especially the teams that made up the eighth seed (which were, IIRC, 1213, 1140, and 1447). It was a lot of fun to see you do so well...and I know that a lot of people were cheering for you in the finals. It's always fun to see the underdogs win.

The competition was a lot of fun, even though we didn't do nearly as well as we were hoping we would. I've got some very nice memories from the competition...like winning our one and only match against the powerhouse that is Chief Delphi. That was a huge morale boost for my team - for once, everything worked just like it was supposed to.

Time for me to start getting ready for Palmetto...

One thing no one seems to mention...there was no dancing! Heheh. I would have enjoyed dancing. I know that we danced to the Cha-Cha Slide, but that was basically it. I was a bit disappointed, but hey! the Cha-Cha Slide was great, still.....
