I really like the kilt wearing dog at UTC... and the devil... and the techno cat, and the lion. i also adore the cardinal from 811! Plus the big pink mascot doing the tick dance is quite a sight to see!

and of course i love our own mascot! WOOHOO for Johnny!!!!!

PS- the monkey crawl was so COOL! but insanely creepy!

The Cucumber mascot was interesting.. But, apparently it was supposed to be a Cactus??? I don't know.. Looked like a Cucumber to me.

Yep... I agree. Mike is a cool guy and quite a sport for bearing with many jerks who were out to beat on him. Once, he got slammed by 5 kids at the same time and just took it. They wanted to pull off his cat head, or something like that. That wasn't cool.

Good job, Sholty.

Re: coolest mascot

We brought our school's mascot, the blazer, but we want to make a wrench-man mascot. There arent many other dedicated-robot team mascots. i saw a lot of mascots that seem to be school's mascots, but not robot mascots.

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/pictures.php?s=&action=single&picid=7716&direction =DESC&sort=date&perrow=5&trows=10&quiet=Verbose

So we are looking into making a costume in the shape of our symbol. Other than finding team members/parents that like to make these sorts of things, any suggestions on how you get a mascot costume?

Yes, they did. I had the pleasure of sharing the super 8 with this team (thanks for the photoshop lesson!) and was able to confirm that the man in the cardnal suit was the same one who splatterd his own blood on the "Band Saw Safty" poster.

Re: coolest mascot

We have a bee costume, now the problem is it is meant to br worn by a six year old. But one of our newbies volunteered to wear it, that costume is way too small but he wore it at VCU and Chesapeake. It ways about 30 lbs do to all of the buttons. But he had fun with all of the other mascots and got alot of people to take pictures. LOL...

I was wondering about that bee costume. It DID seem small. Ha Ha

Also at Chesapeake was the giant soup can. You had to admire the guy who had to wear that around all day. (The team was sponsored by Campbell's, by the way).
