Hats off to Ted Shinta, SVR Woodie Flowers Award winner

I would like to take the time to congratulate Mr. Shinta on winning the regional Woodie Flowers Award at the Silicon Valley Regional. Mr. Shinta is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He is truely dedicated to his team, Team 115 from Monta Vista High School. He is practically like a father to the many students on that team.

As I was talking to one of the MVRT student on Thursday event, I am incredibly touched by how much he respected and look up to Mr. Shinta. It is something I know I will never accomplish.

I talked to many people at SVR, and they all said Mr. Shinta winning this award is the best thing that happened. The fact of the matter is, we've always seen him with his students whenever they needed him, no matter day and night. Not many people can do that.

I would say more about Mr. Shinta, except I don't believe I can communicate his accomplishment better than the Woodie Flowers Award submission his students made for him for this regional.

So, people from MVRT, help me out? Please post your submission to SVR's WFA if you can ;-).

Once again, congratulation!
