powder coating

I have decided to buy a powdercoating kit but i would like to know a little more about powdercoating before i do. I have looked around at differant kits from Northern and MSC and i was wondering if anyone had a recomendation for a specific kit. I will only be using this for making things of mine look cool and for FIRST. Also i would like to know what materials can be powdercoated. I know the manufacturers say what can and can't be powdercoated but i thought it would be better to ask people who have tried them. I was also wondering what kind of oven do i need for baking parts. Would an old toaster oven work for small parts?

Thanks,
Ben Van Selous
