Lightbulb Is your college involved in FIRST?

I was wondering how many of the FIRST partisipants out there are currently attending college, where, and are you still involved with your home team, or did you start a new team?

I go to Penn State Wilkes Barre Campus, we don't have a robotics team here.

I'm still involved with my home team (222 Tigertrons), with my biggest involvement being with the running of the controls table at the PA Robot Challenge.

Re: Is your college involved in FIRST?

When I'm not on coop, I attend Rochester Institute of Technology. RIT directly sponsors team 73 (which I helped to restart back in 2001). RIT students also work with teams 340 and 1415 (I think that's the right team number). RIT Faculty works with team 578. This past year RIT hosted a remote kickoff and we're planning to host a regional in 2005. RIT is becoming more and more involved in FIRST and the team is growing.
