As introduced by FIRST Executive Director Paul Shay at the 2004 FIRST Robotics Competition Championship in Atlanta, GA, FIRST presented the new name and logo FIRST Robovation recognizing the FIRST Robotics Competition pre-season initiative. Please check out our website at http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/robovation/ for full details. Please note that EDUBOT is a trademark owned by Robotica, Ltd., a manufacturer of robotic components, and FIRST disclaims any ownership or right to the mark. We ask all of our teams and participants to discontinue the use of the term EDUBOT and to use FIRST Robovation when referring to competitions, summer camps and other off-season events.
