Batman and Robin and Segway at Six Flags!

I was at Six Flags: Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ yesterday, and the special attraction for this summer is the Batman vs. Catwoman fight. Joker also made an appearance, and his thugs used the Segway as a getaway vehicle. There was a 5 minute Thugs with Segway vs Robin fight scene, which included smaching the Segway into a nearby prop pole. It was rather amusing to see fake fighting using a Segway.

Nah, sorry. If I go again, I'll be sure to bring a camera and run away from the guards enforcing the NO PHOTOGRAPHY sign. ;-)

i just saw the show too, it was hilarious when the guy came out with the segway. especially when he crashed it into an electrical pole, and he fell to the ground and the segway just swayed for a bit then stood straight. it was still standing at the end of the show. i heard people talking about it as i was leaving. "wow, have a look at that thing, it stands up all by itself!"

In the official Six Flags website description of the show, they describe the Segway as "cutting edge" technology, along with the Batmobile!

it says "Segway Human Transport vehicles", but there is only one in the show. there should be no "s"

Maybe they have had to buy so many because they keep wrecking them by slamming them into the poles??? So they just put vehicles????

actually, they have the luggage bag attatched to the front of the segway, filled with stuff, and this provides a nice cusion to the impact
