missing posts from last night?

What happened? A nuclear attack? We need to have redundant servers located in locations all across the US...

When did it go down? Or was this just the normal backup?

It was probably one of the routine backups, but there could have still been a nuclear attack

I believe they are referring to the nightly backup that occurs at 5:47 AM every day.

No if i remember correctly it was around 11:00 last night, it seemed the site was down for about 30-45 mins and when i tried to access it i would either get cache from my computer displayed or a 404 page.

There were issues with a FIRSTwiki upgrade (which is hosted on the same machine).
I was at a coffee house playing guitar at an open mic night w/some friends, so luckily it came back on its own.

Last night it was just my friend Beth and I. She sang, I guitarred^*. We (with the piano and bass) play again tomorrow evening and Monday night, I'll see if I can get video of one of the shows.

Yes. One I run I was trying to install the same version, and it wasn't working either.
