Cotton Eye Joe???

I'm trying to download from iTunes.......there are 12 versions of Cotton Eye Joe and none of them sound quite right!

Anyone know if the one by The Freight Hoppers is the one traditionally played at events......or is there another version that isn't at iTunes?

The version of Cotton Eye Joe that is played at most events is a remix, by Rednex, of the original song. The last I checked, iTunes does not offer it for sale.

"Cotton-Eye Joe" is a traditional folk song, that was made famous when reworked by manufactured band, Rednex, in 1996, into a dance song.

Re: Cotton Eye Joe???

Does anyone have the full "FIRST soundtrack"? I've been trying to get all the songs played at FIRST competitions for 3 years. I have about 1% of that.....

Can someone please post the Artist - Song Name list so that I can find them?

Or better yet, I'll go backstage at the competition and ask the sound guy for all the songs. 4GB flash drive ftw! -_- (he/she probably won't give it to me but it's worth a shot....)
