[OCCRA]: Monday's workshop

Hey everyone,

My team just recently turned in our registration and contact information for this season, so we have not received any of this season's e-mails. So, I apologize if the answer to the question I'm about to ask was given in an e-mail to the OCCRA teams.

I just wanted to confirm the dates and times for the workshops for the drill motors and for the control system. At kickoff they announced the workshop for the drills would be on Monday 9/13 at Oakland Tech on Perry St. But they sounded a little iffy on the time. What time does it begin at? Also, when and where is the Thursday's workshop? Finally, does anyone know if they will release an official calendar with all the important dates for the OCCRA season?

Thanks

I gathered that the controls workshop was on Thursday, from 4 to 6, at Oakland Technical Center. I don't know any details, because they haven't sent any e-mail at all, so I don't know...also OCCRA doesn't have an official website that I know of, and I don't know... Were you at Monday's meeting? Is it the same thing as Thursday's meeting?

The Thursday workshop will begin at 4 P.M. and last 2 to 3 hours. All teams should bring their control boxes from last year. We will be refitting the control boxes with the new robot controller and we will be boring and tapping a 9-tooth sprocket to attach onto the drill transmissions. If time permits, we will have mini-seminars on controls and programming.
