Segway in the News!
Last night on the news they were talking about MiniBikes (pocket rockets). they want to ban them out of public areas....and then they brought up how segways are allowed on the roads and sidewalks and want to ban those too
 but i doubt that will happen

There's a difference between a MiniBike and a Segway. I would consider the Segway in the same class as the scooters that the elderly use.
