So.. what would be a good color to either corespond or totally clash with the above mentioned colors?

Actually maybe fuchia or a burnt orange. I think something in the green family should work too. Not a true green but a Hunter Green or towards the teals like Amanda said.

(Yep, Jay H 237, watching Trading Spaces way too much! Perhaps FIRST should ask Genevieve to design the field. )

teal is totally the color. and actually, a good example of teal is the Tsunami shirts for the Bell Atlantic teams from 2000.
