Re: 2005 Palmetto Regional

Congratulation to team 1251 , 25 and 301 for the great finals.

Congrats to Team 1466 , 179 , 1051 for winning Palmetto regional.

::Tytus loves his robot::

Congratulation to team 25 for the General Motor Industrial Design Award.

... Corey, B-rat...you guys were very close for the gold, I believe in you guys and know that you will win the gold next year, you guys rock.

Team 1251 has proven themselves again by being finalist again 2nd time in a row this year. I saw this rookie team grow and come out as one of the best.

Everybody in Palmetto did a great job, I had fun watching the webcast, wish if I was there.

Re: 2005 Palmetto Regional

Congratulations to 1466 , 179 , 1051 for winning the regional. Special thanks to our alliance partners 1251 and 301.

I personally did not agree with the call made by the referees in the final match, I have to admit, this is undoubtedly the BEST REFFING CREW I have encountered. The head ref Christopher Cook is one of the best refs in FIRST. Team 25 respects their decision in the finals because they are the best crew around. See you all in Atlanta.

Thumbs up Re: 2005 Palmetto Regional

I had been watching the Palmetto webcast, I saw purple hawaiian shirts and remembered team 25 who hosted the first competition I'd ever been to, the Brunswick Eruption. Isn't that a little far to travel to a regional? Anyway, I missed the awards ceremony today, anyone know who won the rookie allstar award down there?

Re: 2005 Palmetto Regional

On behalf of all the inspectors at the Palmetto Regional, I would like to congratulate all the teams that attended. Each inspection was conducted with the utmost level of gracious professionalism. Everyone involved with FIRST knows that 6 weeks is not enough time design, build and test a robot. But each year the teams are able to accomplish this seemingly impossible task. WAY TO GO TEAMS!

I was the announcer for Palmetto and on the floor for every match. Christopher and the crew were awesome.

I have some pictures of the unusual tetra stacks that they had to deal with. There were situations that were totally unexpected and they judged each one with careful consideration. (how can I post a picture of the kattywompus tetra stacks?)

Collmandoman, were you the alliance captain? It was great working with you guys, thanks for picking us. Congrats on winning second seed, you guy's were awesome. I knew we were gonna win it with both our abilities to spread out caps. We had some great strategies. Sorry for some of the close calls, it was a little crazy with us. 1051 did an excellent job as well. Thanks folks.

Also thanks to all the Palmetto volunteers, and teams. A lot of tough competition, I learned a lot and saw some crazy stuff. Stephen it was good getting to chat with you a bit. Thanks 1251, 25 and 301 - you were a great alliance, and we had our hands full.
