Ramp Riot Thanks

I just wanted to say thanks to our alliance partners for a great competition this afternoon at Ramp Riot. Thanks to our captains from 484 the Blue Mongoose Team and of course those little devils from 87 Diablo. You cannot have a set of final rounds any closer than today's.

Thanks also to Miss Daisy and all the folks at Wissahickon H.S. for again putting on a super event. Also again we thank Mike Wade and Pete Baltzell and the NASA organization for all the hard work they do to allow us all to compete. I think I can speak for my Raiders in saying that we all had a great time.

We look forward to seeing all of you again next season at the NJ Regional and Brunswick Eruption, and of course we will count the days to the next Ramp Riot.

And Evil Machine 2 is now officially retired.........

Re: Ramp Riot Thanks

What an awesome job 341 does to put on an outstanding event. Great teams, great atmosphere, great times. I too would like to thank Mike Wade, Pete Baltzell, and NASA Goddard. Mike and Pete are at the heart of so many off season competitions, they have become the backbone that supports off season training for many existing teams, and they provide that many more opportunities for new blood to be exposed to FIRST and ultimately get involved.

Re: Ramp Riot Thanks

On behalf of the RAGE members in attendance I would like to thank our alliance parners, 341(alliance captain), and 1391 for an awesome run, we had a lot of fun. The team really enjoyed both the competition and the venue and had a ton of fun yesterday. I would also like to tahnk 341 Miss Daisy for putting on such a grand event, and of course the duct tape ball will be displayed with pride at our facility.(RAGE stayed after to help with some of the tear down, and as the carpet was being pulled up we started balling all the duct tape up, the ball is larger then a 5 pt ball and weighs quite a bit.)

Re: Ramp Riot Thanks

Thanks a lot to all of those teams who came out and helped us put on a really great event. I thought the competition itself was very exciting and the crowds were great all day.

Good job to 25, 484, and 87. It seems like 25 has had our number all year, but the whole alliance did a great job as well.

We all hope to see you next year.

Re: Ramp Riot Thanks

Thanks a ton to 341 for hosting such an outstanding event. Not to brag about it but I have to say it takes a Corey driving 25s bot to stop such a good robot and drive team(341) from hanging. Congractulations and thanks to 484 and 87 for the win. Congractulations to finalist 224, 272, 1143. Congratulations to other award winners 357(Spirit of Ramp Riot), 173(Play of the day), 103(Judges award), and 365(Charity Award - Cans). I had a lot of fun meeting old and new friends, and it was a blast overall. Thanks again 341 for hosting the event. Those finals were the most intense I've played in. Oh and not to forget, Thanks to Mike Wade, Pete Baltzell & NASA.
