AutoCAD prints?
I'm working with the project manager in my senior design class on creating engineering drawings from AutoCAD 2004 files. We have a part that is curved and is showing a lot of horizontal lines in the various views. Do these lines need to be removed from the e-drawing views other than isometric? If so, how does one go about this?
Thanks, indieFan |

Re: AutoCAD prints?
Indie,
It sounds like you are printing a 3D drawing and the wireframe is visible. Try printing with "hide" on and only the visible lines should print. In the lower right hand corner of the plot window you will see a check box for "hide objects". Let me know if that works. |

Re: AutoCAD prints?
ya, plottting all lines in any view espeicaly with some of the older drivers will make the plotter pen over ine line twice and also put a dot on all the vertical lines that you shouldnt be able to see. ALWAYS! plott hidden, or only 2d immages. i have a bunch of 3d hidden D-size plots hanging up in my room witch look prety awesome, as for these lines of yours. im not exactly shure what your talking about from your discription but try changing somthing about the view of the plot IE: hidden, wireframe, grounded
