**FIRST EMAIL**/Call for Proposals - 2005 FIRST Robotics Conference in Atlanta, Apri

Greetings Teams:

FIRST is seeking presentation proposals for the 2005 FIRST Robotics Conference. One-hour workshops on topics of interest to FIRST Robotics and FIRST LEGO League teams, coaches, mentors, students and prospective leaders will be accepted. You may present alone or as a team.

The goal of the conference is to provide professional development for K-12 educators and professional engineers. In 2005, we have a special interest in presentations about diversity and encouraging underrepresented groups to participate in engineering opportunities. We would also strongly encourage non-engineering mentors to participate!

If you are interested in submitting a proposal for a one-hour presentation in Atlanta, please submit the following to Karen Sullivan at karen@usfirst.org by December 15, 2004:
Your name(s)
Team number(s), if applicable
Affiliation (school, company, agency, etc)
Are you a coach? Mentor? Professional? HS student? College student? Faculty? Teacher? Team of the above?
Email address(es), phone number(s), address(es) of presenter(s)
Have you given this presentation before?
Title of presentation proposed
A short abstract outlining your presentation (no more than 250 words, please)
Go Teams!

NEMO was the first to submit. As usual we have a lot to talk about!
