Lightbulb SDSGC

I received a letter today from the SDSGC notifying all SD teams that there is no financial support available (no surprise) but that they will still offer limited technical support. Last year in SD there were 9 teams. This year there are 4 teams. The state has two engineering schools, one in the east and one in the west. Neither engineering school has a team that it works with and the person who ram-rodded the process for the past three years has moved on. In a state with university programs that profess to inspire students into considering engineering, science and technology as a career path its a sad state of affairs.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
