If you looked at the field parts list, it says something about a magnet. That has me thinking the most.

"something between Pi, You and Me"
Maybe since pi being the 16 letter of the greek alpahbet it could mean there is only 16 balls. Let two bots represent you and me and that the balls are between them. With the unassisted triple plays, the order in which one occurs must do like so: 1. Catch a Ball 2. Touch a Base 3. Touch an opponent This are possible clues that these are just hints to some of the tasks. If you look at the greek alphabet, what is between pi, "Y" and "M" for "you" and "me" you get words like box and off. Maybe i'm wrong but I think we may have to move blocks around. ![]() |

Oh man... The game is revealed in less than 12 hours!!! I'm so pumped... I still say 3 vs 3 or 2 vs 2 vs 2.... 6 robots on the field... haha... Hopefully the game will be as exciting as it was last year with that amount of involvement with the human player... FIRST never seizes to amaze me... We shall see tomorrow morning...

"I think its pretty clear from the shape of amethyst gems and from the triple-play clue that we are going back to the hexagon fields with 3 teams. Now for the "Pi, you, and me" part..."
Yes, lets go here. Another definition of Pi What is pi? It is equal to C/d, or C/2r, where C is the circumference of any circle, and d is its diameter, and r is its radius. http://www.jimloy.com/geometry/pi.htm How could circumference fit in? |

Re: Official 2005 Clue Thread
Neun and Burns both made UNASSISTED triple plays. Purple is the combination of Red and Blue. Maybe there are no longer alliances and you get extra points for doing something during autonomous.

Re: Official 2005 Clue Thread
Pi relates to a circle
Me can refer to mechanical energy A circle of mechanical energy can be a spring Amethyst is known for increases your ability to open to new ideas and help open the channels to your higher self. So, somewhere in a circle is a spring that holds mechanical energy. This energy is tapped when you open yourself up to new and dynamic ideas. Look out! ![]() |
