Another Reason to Ditch G4TechTV, er, I mean G4

1.) They are dropping the TechTV title.
2.) They are adding two new programs, one on drifting (you know how much games like that!) and Girls Gone Wird, which was ripped off from the now cancelled Unscrewed show.

Add this to the current list, and well, you see. From what I hear, things are really bad at G4, they are loosing stations all over the US, and their place has dropped to one of the lowest in the cable stations, lower than FitTV even.

You mean besides dropping every good Tech TV show with the exception of The Screen Savers (which has really gone downhill anyway since the merger) and X-Play? It's quite sad when the best gaming show on that network actually came from the non-gaming network.

This is what's going to happen to 'G4TechTV': Since they had a good TV channel going and didn't need to tweak it or anything, just needed to be left alone, their channels, both G4's and TechTV's are going to die. Why? Because I see it just like a robot. You build it just right, doesn't need fixing or anything, but greed settles in to make it better. Chances are that if you give in to that greed, something else is going to give, and that is your bot. With TechTV and G4, greed settled in, they gave into it, and now they are just 'another' average TV channel with nothing but rage and, well, you know. Soon they'll lose their original veiwership, and just cease to exist.

And that is another PSA from not the average Joe.

X-Play > Judgement Day. Unscrewed getting canceled sucks. That was my favorite G4TT show besides X-Play. Anime Unleashed is cool, but even still, they were better off seperate.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that Comcast is dead-set on driving the channel into the ground.

Most of the G4 programs range from decent to hideously bad; the only one that I can say that I like is Icons. Watching TSS go downhill, though, has been the worst part of the merger. It's not even close to what it was before - it's not useful, entertaining, or even remotely GOOD anymore.

Then again, the problem is easy to fix. All we have to do is stop watching, assuming that we didn't have enough reasons before...
