Powdercoating
Ok, one of our team members was saying that there were only a few legal ways to color a robot, and powder coating wasn't one of them. We have had a sponsor generously offer to coat our robot for us. Is this legal?
Thanks. |

Re: Powdercoating
I have not seen a rule aganist it, but I could be wrong, MOE just spray paints our bots cause its fast and cheep, but if someone offered to podercoat us for free I would love to have that.

Re: Powdercoating
Nope, you can powdercoat.
Team 60 has been doing it for years, among others. |

Re: Powdercoating
we always powder coat our robot... how else do you think we get it to be that brilliant PINK? personally in regards to robot painting, i believe thats one of your best choices... if you can be sponsored with a powder coating, go for it!

Re: Powdercoating
Cyber Blue 234 usually has their robots anodized. It makes them look great and they are slightly stronger. Check out the Aluminum Anodizers Council website if you're interested in more information about it.
