Bring Your Flag
I have noticed at several regionals, that some teams bring their state flag and display it proudly alongside the stars and stripes. Team members also fly their state colors during the heat of competition and celebrations during the awards ceremonies. I feel this promotes state and national pride by adding to the pagentry of the event. I would encourage others to bring their state flag and respectfully display it. This can help emphasize the diversity of states and nations that we have participating.
I look forward to seeing your state and or national colors at regionals and the national competitions.
