Does anyone know who the M C's will be for the regionals? A regional will now be held in the finger lakes and i was wondering if there was a way to find out. Man we sure could use Dave like at Buckeye!!!!!!!

Re: M C's for Regionals

I hope we get Mark Leon at LA. Also, is there any way we can get Don Knight to anounce at LA. Both of these guys individually are awesome, but if we get them together BAM! Wow, what a show it would be.

Re: M C's for Regionals

Mark Leon IS the man. I was so happy when I found out he was MCing at Cal Games this past October. (I was having a bad day, but once Mark showed up it got progressively better!)

He's just another one of those people who puts the I in FIRST.

In case it hasn't been said enough before, Mark Leon ROCKS. He was awesome at Sacramento, and even better on Curie in Atlanta. I hope he'll be at both events again this year... the man has an amazing amount of energy.

Re: M C's for Regionals

I want to be like Mark Leon when I grow up. I think .

Besides the famous types, what do you guys think of the awesome announcers that haven't done as many events, but put their all into everything they do?

I'd love to see one of those at the events I'm at.

I believe the Finger Lakes MC is going to be Paul Copioli.

Re: M C's for Regionals

Paul sends me to deny the above rumour, but add that he WILL be MC at Detroit and announcing at Great Lakes.

Chances are good that Steve W will announce at Detroit and that Dave Verbrugge will MC at Great Lakes again, but I can neither confirm nor deny either of these.

Maybe Dave Verbrugge will make it out to Finger Lakes? There aren't any Midwestern regionals that week, so it's a possibility.

Re: M C's for Regionals

Does anyone remember who the announcer was for "Newton" @ Nationals last year. I remember Big Mike telling me that he was a last-minute fill in, and volunteered to do it because he was an announcer for the Georgia Dome. That guy was "animated" to say the least!

I hope Dan Green is an announcer at MWR or Boilermaker...although it would be hilarious to see DJ Fluck be the MC at Boilermaker
