Starting a new Robotics Club

I changed schools this year (I am a junior) and am experiencing symptoms of FIRST withdrawal.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice regarding starting a club, finding mentors, applying for grants, finding funding, etc.

I have already recruited several members (we are about 5 strong now) and are hoping to grow even more before we get our charter approved.

We do have a metals shop, as well as a computer lab.. so workspace is available.

Re: Starting a new Robotics Club

This was just answered yesterday. Please look around, search, etc., before posting.

Lots of info in these forums:

Or, for the official source:

Hope that helps.
