What, no poll? No URL directing us to an on-line questionnaire? You expect us to put together comprehensible answers? Oh well... (I hate essay questions. )

We came to the Arizona regional the last two years because:

• It was as close as any other regional (other than the LA regional), and
• Because it was a new regional in need of support, and
• Because we expected to have less rigorous competition there.

(Not necessarily in that order of precedence.)

We came back last year because:

• It was loads of fun (I especially loved the Arizona Science Center),
• Room and board was relatively inexpensive. (I think. I didn't really pay that close attention.)
• It was still relatively close. (Saved the hassle and expense of flying and renting cars.)

We decided to go the Sacramento area regional this year just for a change -- and for many of the same reasons we came to AZ. (It's not that much farther than Phoenix. )

(I expect someone -- (ChrisH?) will chime in with some of the other rationales we had, but these were the ones that I remembered. Did I say I hate essay questions? )
