I disagree completely. Removing a joint (or extension) from your arm and losing 2-3 feet of reach for the sake of a greatly simplified, faster, more robust, etc, etc arm can be very well worth it. If you can cap faster and more reliably the majority of the time, you can definitley make up for the few times you get outcapped.

You bring up a good point, espescially if you subscribe to the view that very few tetras will be capped per goal. I don't have a good response really, and it's too late for us to change

seeing everyone was staying how tall there arm was i guess i can say that Team 1259's arm reaches 11' in the air and we have so many anti tip devices if you see us on the gound take a picture because that will be the ONLY TIME!!!!

Looking at about 10', give or take a few (or several) inches. It's still negotiable right now, though. We've got a couple changes in plans that are being worked out...nothing like livin' it up to the last second! Gotta love this game...

for our arm design the base of the tetra will be about 10ft from the ground
