Lots of pretty linkages. Hmm, that pad on the floor kind of reminds me of the brake pads a few teams had in 2003 that they used to jack their robots off the floor and make them truly immovable.

By any chance, is this design supposed to carry a tetra on each of those grippers(4 in total). When you place 1, you can rotate the manipulator and place the other 3 as well? That would be pretty cool if that's what that was.
