What were some of your favorite matches or plays at the regionals this past week?
I know there was some pretty awesome stuff goin on at Rochester, and I didn't even get to watch many of the matches. We had some really good matches ourselves, especially against 229. Since we're both fast cappers (having the same arm design and all), a semi-final match which pitted us against 229 (and the respective alliance teams) ended with at least 5 tetras on each of the middle row goals. 'Twas quite a race, and a fun one at that! The last match of the Finals ended with about 5 or so tetras stacked on the center goal, tipped off to the side. Took the refs a good while to sort it out. I still dont see how that one came out a red win. Last edited by JohnnyB : 06-03-2005 at 21:13. |

Re: Best Plays/Matches
All three final matches were incredible! The stacks on the first and last match were insane and the defense played by the red alliance was awesome in the 2nd match which allowed them to tie.
While I was driving during the qualifying rounds my favourite match was when our team was allied with you guys (217) and we played defense while you just stacked and we won 40-0 . |

Re: Best Plays/Matches
Johnny B,
The last match was definitely a close one and even with the center goal descored by Blue the red alliance still had 1 more tetra I believe anyways. Also I was told the Refs even reviewed the last 5 minutes of that match afterwards just to confirm their decision so no one had any doubts. Ellery |

Hats off to ya then. Was it just me, or were the refs not calling many penalties in situations that were clearly deserving? |

Search. Would anybody here happen to be a master of subliminal messages? This is happening far to often (it's in the portal!).
